From school teacher to radio personality to entrepreneur, Anne Thornton brings together her four decades of experience into the roles she most often fulfills today – speaker, author and businesswoman.
Anne has authored and co-authored numerous books and magazine articles. She is the owner of MSI Plumbing and Remodeling, which has been providing Central New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania with residential home improvement, renovation and repair services for the past 25 years.
Everywhere Anne goes, she’s asked questions about running a business or running a home, so she decided to take her answers on the road. Speaking at community, non-profit and business organizations, Anne entertains and educates through humor, show-and-tell, storytelling and practical tips.

Anne is also a former educator, having taught at the secondary and college level. She has a BS in Special Education and Sociology as well as a Master’s Degree in Vocational Counseling.
Anne is married to businessman Les Giese and is the mother of two adult children, one a banker and one an archaeologist. And, she is the mother to five Rotary Club high school exchange students, each of whom lived with her family for one year of high school and were from France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
